INTRODUCTION
Free Form is an arts in regeneration charity which is unique in providing the full range of arts and creative services for the built environment to place art at the heart of urban regeneration. Free Form offers innovative arts, design and technical services and training to humanise the social and physical urban environment through the arts and creative industries on a local, national and international level. Free Form is based at the Hothouse on London Fields, Hackney. Hothouse is an award winning centre for regeneration through the arts and creative industries.
ROLE
HYPP Youth Volunteering Opportunities at Hothouse
We have a few places available for young people aged 16-25 to train as Hackney Youth Print Project Volunteers. The courses which run in Autumn 2009 offer the opportunity to gain skills in Silk Screen Printing techniques and to volunteer as Assistant Workshop Facilitators passing on your creative skills to other young people/community groups in creative printing workshops.
You will also have the opportunity to gain AQA accreditation and Free Form will support the costs of an Enhanced CRB check to enhance your CV's.
