| Free Form’s award winning Cultural Enterprise @ HOTHOUSE is at the heart of our work, providing a 20-week work-based training course as a pathway for re-training and upskilling creative people to enable them to earn a living through their skills. Cultural
Enterprise @
HOTHOUSE provides
hands-on experience of real Public Art projects taking you through all
stages of the design and the community involvement process. Participants
work in teams to produce work towards ‘live’ urban design
and environmental regeneration projects, which provide a quality experience,
core transferable skills (including IT and Project Management), continuing
professional development and business training. The programme offers accreditation
at NVQ Design Level 3. |
When?
The next training course will commence in January 2007. Priority will be given to candidates living in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Lee Valley, Bedfordshire and Luton. Where? The
training course will be based at HOTHOUSE
274 Richmond Road London Fields E8 3QW, with some work on site either
in London or the Bedfordshire area. |
Who
it is for?
The course is open to people with strong creative and technical skills in areas such as Arts/Landscape/Product Design/Architecture and are interested in Public Art, Urban Design and Community Art and Architecture. We are looking for commitment in terms of time and artistic contribution. We are also
interested in working with people who are recently qualified and/or established
in their work, and are unemployed, self-employed or threatened with unemployment.
